Above is a copy of the mood board i created using photoshop, the idea of this is to demonstrate some key themes and concepts i plan to include in my trailer or things i believe would work well. I've included images of young children, generally looking a bit creepy or weird, innocence is a classic and key convention of the horror genre. This links in with the images of black eyes as I would like it to be clear that those effected by the child would have black eyes. The zombie makeup ties in with those that are deceased from the past by the killer and so their skin is starting to decay and they're clearly victims of a violent death. The doll is the main concept in the idea in that it is what possess the child killer and it is important for it to be creepy, mangled and slightly odd for a child to own.
